Artist Statement
Animals are a joy not only in my life but in the lives of so many others. I want my pictures to capture the mood, the personality and the look an animal can give us each day. From exuberant to stoic, silly to rambunctious, as well as their feelings and their love. To capture these looks I use a variety of backgrounds and lighting techniques.
It is a work of love to be able to capture the interaction between an owner and their pet. Large animals to small birds, reptiles, rats, snakes and lizards as well as dogs and cat. They all play a significant part in many people's lives. To be able to capture these images for the future is a challenge that is important as well as fulfilling. It is a challenge that I willingly embrace. |

A little bit about me
My background consists of a BA in Photography from the Art Institute of Colorado along with 10 years of photography experience. I have two passions in life. Photography and animals. My deep love for animals of all kinds makes me want to never stop learning more about them. I can't imagine my life without animals and I love to be around people who feel the same way. Therefore I have combined the two things in life that I love the most. I am a pet photographer. |
