To Kennel or Not To Kennel, That is the Question!
There are many options left open to pet owners now a days. Kennels are still a big option for pet owners. However, an alternative to the kennel is hiring a pet sitter to come into your home while you are gone. Pets that can not be trusted at home or would have to be confined to their kennel would be candidates for staying at the local kennel. Some animals do great in the kennel yet there are some animals that become depressed and won’t eat, or drink. With in home pet care, your pet stays in familiar surroundings, eats his regular diet, and has his very own nanny to look after his every wish.

Please keep in mind when hiring a pet sitter, that you should check out their references. Ask questions, make sure you make a list of what you expect the sitter to do. Make sure they have the proper paper work with them. Make sure you understand what it is they are going to be doing while in your home. And last but not least, make sure you feel comfortable with the person coming into your home. Go with a company that has been around awhile. Chances of mishaps are a lot less with a seasoned professional pet sitter. |
